*** FOR YOUR INFORMATION ***
The January renewal notices will move into production late this evening December 11th . The notices will be printed and mailed starting early tomorrow morning December 12th with all notices and reprints being mailed by Monday, December 14th. The February notices will be sent to Wells Fargo Tuesday, December 15th and will move into production Wednesday, December 16th.
In an effort to further assist customers with December renewals the state has created an application on the Department of Revenue website. This new web application will allow December renewal customers to find their renewal amount online. The link for this application is located under 'Popular Topics' on the Motor Vehicle Division main page. You will need to enter your tag number, the last name the vehicle is registered in, street address and zip code. Click Submit.
You will not be able to print your renewal using this website but you can see how much is due and you will be able to renew your registration.
Due to issues at the state level, December 2015 renewal notices will not be mailed. You will be receiving a letter in the mail as your reminder. You may call or come into our office and we will print you out your notice as long as you can provide us with the tag number or the VIN number. Our hours are 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday and open until 5:45 pm on Tuesdays, 770-461-3652.
Want to renew your tags online but don't know your RIN #? that's no longer a problem. Additional functionality has been added to the Internet Vehicle Registration Renewal program. RIN Retrieval will allow customers, who do not have immediate access to their Renewal Identification Number(RIN), to be able to query on the website for this information. Once retrieved, the RIN will automatically populate into the renewal program to continue with the renewal process.
